This Croatian Natioan park is very uniqe presentation of world’s nature with sea and stone labyrinth built of 140 uninhabited islands, islets and rocks with approximately 238 km of coastline, situated in Zadar and Sibenik area. They are known as the most indented island group in the Mediterranean. Overlooking them from the air, you can experience a magnificent sight of silver islands that emerge from the clear blue sea. Although it may give the impression of cold and desolation, if we look at and explore closer, we can discover many natural beauties. There are habitats for rare species of birds, plants, and a special phenomenon called vertical cliffs so called “Crowns” that are facing the sea. Kornati is one of the favorite destinations for sailors in the Adriatic.
